Welcome, current clients, new friends!
We wanted our first post with our new website to be one that explains a little bit about our expanding business services. We have specialized in graphic design, as well as printed materials for a long time now, but we saw a major hole in our area for web design that even smaller businesses can afford, easy to deal with and effective!
Being a peripheral industry, right on the outskirts of web design, we saw so many frustrated and dissatisfied owners and professionals that were also our clients! I even felt guilty! There were some who could never get their web hosting company to answer calls or emails. We saw those who were victims of unethical practices, like holding your web domain hostage. Believe it or not – there are some companies whose standard practice is to register your website address under their name to lock you into dealing with them. They either charge way too much to “buy” your domain from them or it’s just too time consuming to deal with the switch. It takes time and patience to make these kinds of changes. We all get stuck in the day to day of our business only to realize way too late that we could have saved headache if we had just gone a different direction.
Another major issue: no control over your own website marketing… We need to be able to make real time changes for upcoming marketing campaigns, and feel good about giving our website out to potential clients. We can’t afford to wait 2-6 weeks (or much much longer!) for simple changes to go live. We can’t feel good about a prospect going to our website when there are Christmas Specials still featured in July! We have to stay current and compelling to stay alive!
Plus – wouldn’t you rather deal with a company that you can trust; a company with stellar references in the immediate area? Just because we are a “technology driven” business, we want to make sure that when you deal with us, you get that personal service that is so lacking in today’s corporate culture. We work hard to make sure that our clients are happy with our products and services. I have a big problem with any company that when I have a question, I don’t get to deal with a live person. I think that we are all a little sick of that kind of “customer service”. We pay big bucks to keep our business working right, and we shouldn’t feel bad for expecting that from our website developers too.
Anyway – now that you know the reasons we expanded our business – know that we will always work hard to help you with whatever marketing needs you require to grow your business.
Thanks for reading our first post! We appreciate you.
