Designing for print is almost second nature to me, but the editor in me always kicks in to be sure all the details are strait. Print must be exact because budgets and product cost depend upon it.
Creation of these publications included project planning, layout, photo retouch, original photography, editing text for space, grammar and clarity. Some also included quoting print prices with varying substrates (paper), spot colors, sizes, finishing (like perforations or hole punches), and quantities, as well as color management for brand identity. I’ve even attended quite a few on-site press proofs to ensure quality.
